Integrative Therapies Research
Integrative therapies are treatments addressing the whole person, body, mind, and spirit, used within the context of cardiovascular care. They include techniques that promote relaxation, reduce anxiety, balance energy, and promote healing. Evidence-based clinical trials will provide MHIF with the methods most likely to be used successfully by our patients with cardiovascular disease. Evaluating integrative therapies helps us to learn more about heart care for the whole person.
