Referring Patients The Minneapolis Heart Institute's cardiology outreach and mobile diagnostic program is one of the largest in the United States. Cardiologists from MHI visit more than 30 communities throughout Minnesota and the Upper Midwest on a regular basis. We feel that the best model for outstanding cardiac specialists care is to bring the specialists to the primary care setting. So whenever possible, we bring our services, doctors and trained personnel to patients throughout greater Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
