Professional Experience
Dr. Tang developed his interest in clinical skills, especially in the area of cardiology, during his medical training and internship year in West Africa. After returning to North America, he underwent extensive post-graduate training in pediatrics, internal medicine and both pediatric and adult cardiology. He also had extensive, advanced fellowship training in the subspecialty area of clinical cardiac electrophysiology. He has authored/co-authored several publications in the field of cardiac pacing and electrophysiology. He has also presented his clinical research at various local, national and international meetings. He joined the Minneapolis Heart Institute® in 1999.
